Auction Project

Each year the WCCH Board of Directors select an “auction project” as a way to encourage the community to donate to this worthy cause. This year’s auction project equips the new 13,000 SF multipurpose learning and counseling center, opening in late 2022. The project goal is $30,000. Donations will be used to purchase fitness equipment, recreational equipment, activities and furniture for the educational (life skill) areas in the new building.

Donations for the auction project can be made at www.wcchonline.org.

Program Description

Children, age 6-18 years old, live at Woodburn Christian Children’s Home because cannot they remain in their home, or they have no home. Many have experienced neglect and trauma. The lives of these children are transformed through the WCCH residential program so they can achieve independence and stability as adults. For 50 years, WCCH has a proven track record of helping children advance toward these outcomes: 100% of WCCH children graduate from high school and 40% enroll in secondary education.

Auction Description

The Benefit Auction provides essential funds to help children realize their full potential. WCCH does not accept any government funding, and will place a child with little or no financial resources. All support comes through voluntary donations and fundraisers like the auction. For many years, Jerry and Ruth Ehle of Schrader Auction have donated time and effort to help children find hope through the benefit auction.

The much-anticipated WCCH 17th Annual Benefit Auction is MORE THAN AN AUCTION! The event goes beyond valuable auction items, delicious food, and family-friendly fellowship… The fundraiser auction goes beyond all of this and into the hearts of children.
